Why thitherward?

Ditching eddies and currents for thitherward

Why not only change my blog host but also the name?

I deleted my old blog a few weeks ago. I was only writing a handful of times a year. Let go of the past!

But I wanted a way to write now and then with a less-expensive host that was supposed to be easier. Well, it's not easier. I'm still figuring things out after hours of trying. I don't find this host intuitive.

I decided to try out a new name after letting go of eddies and currents. I spent a couple of evenings brainstorming.

I came up with "thither" of hither and thither (here and there) because it's an archaic word that someone hasn't already claimed as a domain name.

But I don't feel I've arrived so I needed to indicate I'm headed that way...but not there yet.

Thus "thitherward."

I'm using my own photos in most cases. I'm so glad I traveled when I did. Those long driving trips may be in my past but I have lots of photos to remind me of those times I enjoyed so much. I seemed always to be thither-ing in a literal sense.

Now I feel I'm thithering in a different sense. So some posts, which I'll call my woo woo posts, will be a recounting of experiences and intuitions that seem "beyond." I was always thithering in those realms but now I want to look at the specific experiences.

And be open to new ones.
