Finally seeing a pulmonologist
No answers yet but a couple of tests scheduled.

This may be my shortest post.
Monday I saw a pulmonologist. He asked lots of questions and listened well and has me set up with a swallow study (technical name: fluoroscopy esophogram) next week. He also prescribed a daily antacid (pantoprazole).
I've been wondering if what sounds like wheezing is actually in my throat. And that could be caused by acid reflux. Or something with my esophagus.
I'm also scheduled for pulmonary functions testing and a 6-minute walk test, but I couldn't get that on the calendar until late August.
So I didn't get any answers but will be getting some insights next week.
And I finally got my pneumonia vaccine, Prevnar 20, at the pulmonary office. That had me feeling miserable for about 36 hours. But then I bounced back.
Thus ends my short update!
